Dragon Illusion
Dragon illussion is a powerful illusion using a normal printing paper and the orginal image to be printed.
The paper dragon illusion is best explained in this youtube video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIZcl8q0u4Q.
When I made my dragon illusion, it did not work initially since I used a glossy photo paper. I also did not notice the part where it said that it is best viewed at 1 to 2 feet away and with one eye closed
Aftter several tries and different angles, I was still not seeing the effect that I saw on the youtube video. Finally, I decided to have it printed on a non-glossy paper and followed the instructions carefully. This time the effect was more obvious and I also noticed that the effect is actually much more obvious when viewed on a camera.
Above is a short clip of my blue dragon illusion.

Optical Illusions for Kids
Optical Illusions for Kids
Optical Illusions for Kids are simple illusions that stimulates or test a kid's visual perception. Basic shapes and objects commonly used in these kinds of optical illusions or anything that a kid could easily associate or anything that they are already familiar with.
The optical illusions for kids works for adults as well. Illusions cause our mind to perceive a
different object than what actually is in reality.
Here are some Optical Illusions for Kids that you may want to show them:
1. Ask your kid or child to count how many gray dots are there in the image below.-The correct answer is none. There are no gray spots in the image above. Our brain just gives as the impression that there are because of the contrasting colors of the black squares and the white spaces.
2. Ask a kid in your household to identify what animal is in the picture below.
-Depending where your focus is, the viewer would see a rabbit or a duck which are both correct.
3. Are the diagonal lines parallel?
-They absolutely are.
4. Is it a perfect circle?
-The picture above is a perfect circle. It appears to be distorted because of the surrounding lines.
5. Lastly, check whether your kids are still innocent or not. The picture below is entitled "Message of Love from the Dolphins" by Sandro Del-Prete. Ask your kid what he sees.
-An innocent kid would say "Some dolphins jumping out of the water" but a mature one would say that he/she sees a couple embracing each other in an erotic way.
I hope you enjoyed this post and and if you did, go ask a kid out and let him see these optical illusions for kids.

Scary Optical Illusions
Scary optical Illusions
Scary optical illusions are just normal optical illusions(visual illusions or eye tricks) and sometimes not really scary at all. These illusions were categorized as scary because of the images used in the art are associated with fear or death. Most of the scary optical illusions uses skulls or a devil as the second image.
In the picture below most people see the black cat with a rat on its mouth, the man sitting, the other man he is talking to and the sailboat on his back. But if you would look closely(or should I say further), there is also an image of the skull. The black cat and the man's elbow as the eyes.
In the next image, the picture actually illustrates women talking to each other and the other image is a devil's face. The closer you are to your screen, what becomes more apparent are the women since the details of their faces are obvious. The devil's face actually becomes clearer the further you are from your screen or when you are squinting your eyes because the details on the woman's faces loses its clarity.
To sum it up, I made a scary optical illusion video. Please do check it out and tell me if you got scared or not.The following video works best if you have it in full screen and have your speaker turned on.
That's it for now for scary optical illusions.
